Wellocity was started in 2006 by Nikhil Vaswani and Rohit Shankar, IIM Ahmedabad batch-mates and avid sportsmen. What started as a company to design and develop fitness centers with a focus on service quality, has grown into a leading sports and fitness management firm. Wellocity now provides end to end solutions, starting with Infrastructure & Management Consultancy to Facility Management services in the field of sports & fitness.

Our projects range from sports & fitness centers for educational institutes like NID and IIM Indore, to large-scale Sports Academies in conjunction with State governments & Municipal authorities, to commercial lifestyle & fitness centers in cities like Ahmedabad & Baroda. Our latest venture “AMPlify” is a technology platform, designed to assist sports and fitness professionals in implementing key processes, and thereby enhancing the quality & scalability of their services.

• Our strong core management and leadership team – In addition to their strong educational backgrounds, both founders have brought indispensable skills to the business. Along with the vast experience of training athletes & fitness enthusiasts, Rohit has a fitness certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), crucial to bridging the gap between the technical & managerial requirements of our organization. Nikhil’s experience in the IT industry has provided the indispensable skills required in designing & developing the processes and software systems, forming the backbone of all our services. Apart from them, we have also groomed a young generation of sports & fitness enthusiasts, forming the strong core of our management team.
• Our practical and on-ground exposure to all aspects of sports & fitness facilities services – With a wide range of commercial fitness centers, sports & fitness centers at educational institutions & autonomous organizations and Sports academies under our belt, we have acquired a wealth of practical exposure in all aspects of setting up and operating such facilities. These include design of policy frameworks, development of academies, and management of day to day operations. This has given us the expertise to manage projects of all sizes across multiple domains.
